A strong support system makes things happen.

Joe Snyder
Executive Board President
Being Cole’s father has shaped every part of who I am. I have seen in a very personal way that the challenges autistic individuals face don’t disappear when they reach adulthood they only change. But these challenges affect everyone who love and care for them. The uncertainty of finding meaningful opportunities, the struggle to navigate support systems, and the desire to see our loved ones thrive can be overwhelming. Like any parent, I want my son to have a fulfilling life, to learn, to contribute, and to be part of a community that values him. That’s why Horizons of Hope means so much to me. It’s more than an organization; it’s a vision for a future where autistic adults and their families are supported, empowered, and given the opportunities they deserve.
With over a decade of experience in sales leadership at Daimler Truck North America, I’ve built strong relationships, developed training programs, and driven business success. I bring that same dedication to Horizons of Hope, working to ensure the organization’s long-term success so that more families like mine can find the support they need.

Mele Moldero
Executive Board Secretary
Being Cole Snyder’s cousin, I have seen firsthand the struggles autistic individuals face when trying to find meaningful opportunities and support. My passion for advocating for the autism and special needs community comes from a deep love for my family and a desire to create real change. I believe that every autistic adult deserves to be valued, included, and given opportunities to thrive.
As a human resources professional with an aPHR certification, I have developed experience in fostering inclusive environments, supporting organizational processes, and helping teams and individuals succeed. My background in both the nonprofit and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) sectors has given me insight into how organizations can run effectively while staying true to their mission. To me, Horizons of Hope is more than just an organization, it’s a way to create real opportunities for autistic adults and their families, including my own.
As Board Secretary, I am honored to bring my HR expertise to support the daily operations of this incredible mission, helping to build a strong foundation that allows our programs and services to thrive.

Leona Snyder
Program Director
Being Cole’s mom has been the most challenging, rewarding, and defining part of my life. For 24 years, I have been his advocate, his protector, and his biggest believer. Every step of the way, I have fought to ensure he has the opportunities to grow, learn, experience and enjoy relationships with those who love him. It has been a journey of hope and resilience, filled with both triumphs and heartbreak, strength and vulnerability. I have felt the exhaustion of navigating the special needs system. I’ve had the frustration of doors closing, and the deep determination to create a world where he and others like him are valued and included. Through it all, I have seen the power of community, the importance of opportunity, and the undeniable truth that every autistic individual deserves to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Jordan Victoria
Community Integration Coach
My journey working with individuals on the autism spectrum began in 2010 when I was hired as a martial arts instructor for a class designed specifically for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
That experience sparked a passion that has guided my career ever since. In 2018, I joined Autism Learning Partners, where I completed extensive training and earned my Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in 2021. Over the years, I’ve worked in home, school, and remote settings, supporting clients as young as five and as old as 22.
For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Cole Snyder in different capacities, which has given me an even deeper appreciation for the need for programs like Horizons of Hope. I am excited to bring my experience and dedication to this organization, supporting autistic adults and their families through meaningful services, advocacy, and community.

Cole Snyder
Community Champion
Cole Snyder is the heart and driving force behind Horizons of Hope. As our champion autistic son, he has been our greatest teacher, our motivation, and the reason we dared to imagine something greater.
We started Horizons of Hope with Cole as a test—to see what could be possible when autistic adults are given the right support, opportunities, and encouragement. What we discovered was something truly extraordinary. The possibilities are tremendous, and Cole has shown us that with the right environment, autistic individuals can thrive, contribute, and live fulfilling lives.
Many assume that his behaviors would hold him back, but with the right support, Cole has proven time and time again that challenges do not define potential. He is the strongest and hardest worker we know, giving his best effort in everything he does. Whether it’s learning a new task, overcoming obstacles, or displaying his incredible work ethic, Cole demonstrates perseverance and determination every single day. From structured activities to life skills development, he continues to prove that autistic adults have limitless potential when given the chance. He inspires us not only through his work but through his unwavering spirit, kindness, and willingness to take on new challenges.
Cole is still a work in progress, and his journey of growth is ongoing. But because of the strides he has made, we know that others like him deserve the same chance to explore their own potential. His progress is proof that autistic individuals can achieve more than many believe possible—when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities. Horizons of Hope exists because of Cole—because of what we have seen in him, what we know he is capable of, and what we believe is possible for others like him. His journey is a testament to the power of opportunity, inclusion, and belief in one’s abilities. Cole is not just the inspiration behind our mission; he is living proof of what is possible when we choose to see ability over limitation.
